Eaton Named Among the Top 20 Data Center Infrastructure Providers by CRN Magazine

Eaton has been recognized as one of the top 20 data center infrastructure providers in CRN magazine’s Data Center 100, an annual listing of the top technology vendors in the data center market. In the listing, Eaton was recognized as a leading provider of power quality and monitoring technology, as well as uninterruptible power systems.

The Data Center 100 list recognizes key technology vendors that are powering today’s data centers. The list is broken into five categories – infrastructure, virtualization, hosts, designers and tools.

“While data centers can be used to provide a wide range of services, not a single one will work without first ensuring the data center has a solid infrastructure,” said Joseph F. Kovar, senior editor, CRN. “The infrastructure side of the data center business is where vendors with longtime ties to the channel can be found, making infrastructure the best way for solution providers to dip their toe into the data center market.”

The recognition is one of several that Eaton received from the information technology (IT) channel publication over the past year. In 2012, Eaton’s PowerAdvantage Partner Program received a “5-Star” ranking in the CRN Partner Program Guide. Additionally, Eaton’s Vice President and General Manager for the Distributed Power Quality Business Unit, Hervé Tardy was named among the Top 25 Channel Sales Leaders of 2012, and two Eaton employees – Donna St-Denis, channel marketing manager, and Frances Harrington, sales manager for the IT channel – were recognized by CRN in 2012 as leading “Women of the Channel.”
