Eaton Named 2014 Channel Champion by CRN, Earns Overall Winner in Power Protection and Management Category

Eaton is first to break previous winner’s 20-year streak as overall category champ

March 5, 2014 … Eaton is proud to announce the company was named the 2014 Channel Champion by CRN in the overall category of Power Protection and Management during a special awards ceremony at the XChange Solution Provider conference on March 4 in Los Angeles, Calif. Breaking a multi-decade winning streak, Eaton is the first new overall winner in this category in twenty years. The selection validates Eaton’s continued growth and unparalleled commitment to information technology (IT) channel programs and partners.

The CRN Channel Champions survey is the largest and broadest-based technology integrator market study in the industry, measuring IT solution providers’ overall perceptions of vendor products and services across 31 technology categories. In addition to defining which vendors are leading the way in partner satisfaction, the scores – including year-to-year comparisons – also provide a snapshot of the competitive dynamics in each category.

UPSgrade was launched to reward partners for upgrading their customer’s data center infrastructure and provide free, environmentally sound disposal of outgrown equipment.
