Eaton’s Curtiz Gangi Recognized for Channel Innovation on CRN®’s Top 100 Executives List

Sept. 8, 2016 … Power management company Eaton today announced that Curtiz Gangi, sales vice president, midmarket and U.S. Channels, data center vertical, has been recognized as one of Top 100 Executives of 2016 and ranked first on the list of Top 25 Channel Sales Leaders of 2016 by CRN. This annual list recognizes leaders from the technology industry who have played an integral role in shaping today’s information technology (IT) channel, whether by driving cultural shifts, creating rich new opportunities or forging innovative new routes to success.

Gangi and his team stand at the forefront of channel innovation as they help partners navigate the changing IT landscape and create new revenue opportunities by delivering unique power management strategies for end users. In working to generate strategic commercial opportunities, Gangi and his team have cultivated relationships with Eaton alliance partners such as SimpliVity, EMC and NetApp, companies that represent the leading IT providers in the industry. These alliances not only enhance Eaton’s solutions, such as its Intelligent Power Manager™ software, but also help also drive new revenue opportunities for partners.

For his thought leadership in channel innovation, CRN named Gangi a 2015 Channel Chief and one of the Most Influential Channel Chiefs of 2016. Additionally, the Midsize Enterprise Summit named Gangi as one of its Top 50 Midmarket IT Vendor Executives in 2014 and 2015.

“Eaton’s channel partners represent the most forward-thinking solution providers across the technology landscape. They recognize the value of power management in building a complete IT strategy,” said Gangi. “By leveraging our tools and technologies, our partners have integrated power management into key solutions like converged infrastructure, virtualization and hyperconvergence. This honor from CRN belongs not only to our channel team, but to our valued partners, who trust Eaton’s expertise and capabilities and work with us to shape the future of their success.”

The honorees in the CRN Top 100 List are selected by CRN’s editorial staff on the basis of their professional achievements, standing in the industry, dedication to the channel partner community and strategies for driving future growth and innovation. Each of the 2016 executives has demonstrated loyalty and ongoing support for the channel by consistently promoting, defending and executing outstanding partner programs. However, a select few were chosen for the Top 100 list, each singled out for his or her prominent role in guiding and shaping the IT channel. The Top 100 Executives list will be featured in the August 2016 issue of CRN and online at .
