Eaton Named a 5-Star Partner by CRN for Ninth Consecutive Year

April 11, 2016 … Eaton today announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, awarded Eaton’s PowerAdvantage™ Partner Program its highest possible “5-Star Partner” designation in the 2016 CRN Partner Program Guide. The award marks the ninth consecutive year Eaton’s partner program has earned CRN’s top accolade. The annual guide is the definitive listing of vendors that service solution providers or provide products to the information technology (IT) channel.

Eaton’s PowerAdvantage Partner Program encompasses a broad range of sales enablement tools, partner training and financing programs designed to help channel partners drive new business growth. This year, Eaton is outlining alternative revenue streams that are simple for partners to add in to current business practices while delivering greater value for their customers. The focus on building out a complete recurring revenue stream with healthy margins around not only hardware, but also software and managed services, will enable Eaton’s partners to truly capitalize on their customers’ power infrastructure life cycles.

The opportunity to earn recurring revenue is also built into the new pricing structure for Eaton’s Intelligent Power Manager™ software. This structure is designed to help partners make up to five times more revenue per sale while increasing their margins through offering upfront installation and annual consulting services around all of Eaton’s product offerings. With the enhanced feature and pricing schedule, partners are able to charge more and ultimately make more money per year, per customer. The 5-Star Partner Program recognition is the latest in a series of accolades bestowed on Eaton by the editors of CRN. Hervé Tardy, vice president and general manager, Distributed Power Solutions, and Curtiz Gangi, VP U.S. Channels, Data Center Sales, Electrical Sector, were both named Channel Chiefs by CRN in 2015 and 2016. Additionally, Gangi was recognized as one of CRN’s Midsize Enterprise Summit Top 50 Midmarket IT Vendor Executives.
