Eaton 9390, 9395, Service
After investigating multiple power protection solutions, ASA determined that the Eaton 9390 UPS was the best fit for the application, and also the least expensive.
Downtime just isn`t an option for the Alabama Supercomputer Authority. The slightest blip in power would significantly delay work, researchers and jobs running on supercomputers and compromise network connectivity to every school system in the state. ASA needed to replace its aging UPS with a better performing solution.
ASA chose to parallel two Eaton 9390 160 kVA units to protect the wide range of equipment on the ASA`s computer room floor, which was worth millions of dollars. The organization was so impressed with the solution that it looked to Eaton once again when it required a secondary power source to protect its computer room.
