The Eaton 5PX comes fully equipped with a unique LCD user interface. This demo allows you to interact with the UPS as if it was actually in your data center, supporting your equipment. As you navigate through the menu, you will see that it was designed with you in mind, providing all settings at the touch of a button.

Here you can see the current total load on the UPS, including watts, volt-amps, amps, and power factor.

Here you can see the current load on the primary outlets, including watts, volt-amps, amps and power factor.

Here you can see the current load on the Group 1 outlets, including watts, volt-amps, amps and power factor.

Here you can see the current load on the Group 2 outlets, including watts, volt-amps, amps and power factor.

Here you can see the current input voltage and frequency, as well as the output voltage and frequency.

Here you can see the charge condition of the batteries including how much runtime you have under the current load conditions. You can also see what charging mode the UPS is in and its status.

Here you can see the current efficiency of the UPS based on the loads attached and the operation mode of the UPS (i.e. charging status, AVR mode, etc...)

Here you can see the average power usage of the UPS, as well as the primary outlets.

This allows you to start a manual battery test for the 5PX.

This allows you to clear the active fault state of the UPS.

This allows you to zero the power usage measurements.

This is where events or alarms are displayed.

Here you can see information about this UPS.

Select from seven languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, and Italian). All UPS settings and data are supported in all available languages.

Here you can change the brightness and the contrast of the LCD.

Here you can enable or disable the audible UPS alarm.

Here you can select your output voltage level:

Low voltage models: 100V, 120V, or 125V

High voltage models: 200V, 208V, 220V, 230V, or 240V

Here you can select either normal mode or extended mode.

Extended mode allows for a lower input voltage without transferring to battery. This can be used if the load can withstand low voltage supply.

Here you can select either high or low sensitivity.
High sensitivity: The UPS will easily transfer to battery when utility power conditions are becoming poor.
Low sensitivity: The window for switching to battery is widened so that in poor power quality areas when the equipment attached can withstand the wider ranges the UPS will switch to battery at an extended value.

Here you can set the delay that the two load segments will follow on either start or shutdown.
Auto start delay: Set delayed start up of load segments to sequence startup of devices attached.
Auto shutdown delay: Shed non-critical loads connected to the two load segments at a specified duration after going to battery power.

Customize where the UPS will alarm for an overload condition up to 105% of the maximum load. Set overload alarm level to identify when unauthorized equipment is attached to UPS.

Here you can authorize the 5PX to start on battery power.

If enabled and you are in the middle of a shutdown sequence when power is restored, the shutdown sequence will complete and restart within 10 seconds. If disabled, the shutdown sequence will be interrupted and the UPS will restart immediately.

Here you can set the 5PX to restart automatically, after a prolonged power outage, when the power is restored.

Here you can enable the 5PX to shutdown after five minutes on back-up time if no load is detected on the output.

Here you can control when the LCD screen will turn off, either immediately after the UPS is turned off, or 90 minutes after the UPS is turned off.

Here you can enable or disable remote shutdown or restart with the integration of Eaton's intelligent Power Software Suite.

Here you can customize the occurence of an automatic battery test (daily, weekly, or monthly).

The alarm will trigger when the set percentage of battery capacity you have chosen is reached during a back-up time.

You can customize at what battery capacity level the UPS will automatically restart. This allows you to control the minimum battery capacity needed to provide protection to your equipment on restart after a prolonged power outage.

This allow you to select either Eaton's Advance Battery Management (ABM) charging technology or constant charging.

This allows you to select the number of extended battery modules (EBM's) attached to the 5PX if you are not using the autosense cables provided.

When enabled, the 5PX will automatically prevent the battery from deep discharging by adapting the end of back-up time voltage threshold. This maximizes the life of the battery.

Measure your cumulative power usage over time.

Here you can manually control power to the load segments and thus the attached equipment. You can set them to on or off.

This allows you to return all of the UPS settings back to the original factory values.

Here you can confirm that you want to reset the fault list.

The Product Type and Model of the UPS are displayed.

The Part Number and Serial Number of the UPS are displayed.

The firmware level for the UPS and NMC are displayed.

When available the IP address of the communications card will be displayed.

This is the home screen of the 5PX. Here you can get status updates of your UPS in one single view. By using the buttons at the bottom, simulate a load change or choose from three events to see how the UPS will react.

The 5PX is equipped with auto voltage regulation (AVR) mode. This feature allows the UPS to correct under and over voltages without going to battery power. This provides additional protection to your devices and elongates the life of your battery.
