Eaton Midspan
PoE (Power over Ethernet) Midspans are installed between standard Ethernet switches and the IP phones (or WiFi access points), without modifying the existing active network equipment and wiring. Their benefit is to add 48V DC power on each output Ethernet cable, to remotely power all the phones in the building or floor, centrally from the switch closet. Eatons' Midspans can be remotely managed using SNMP and monitored from the Eaton Enterprise Power Manager supervision platform. PoE Midspans are the perfect companion products to any Eaton UPS with extended runtime for complete power protection of any VoIP system.

Unique: Crisis Management for PoE
UPS communicates with Midspan (NM2 version) via network and launches
pre-defined actions. In case of a power failure the Midspan NM2 can shutdown
non-priority PoE ports to increase the availability of critical ports.
