Load Segmentation

LanSafe power management software enables you to independently control load segments, which are groups of receptacles on the rear panel of an Eaton UPS. This feature enables you to manage scheduled shutdowns and sequential startups of protected loads. During a power outage, you can shut down power to non-critical devices, thereby extending battery backup time available for critical devices.

Load segmentation is available for Eaton 5115 RM, 5125, 5130, Evolution, Evolution S, EX Tower, EX Rack/Tower, 9130, 9135, and MX UPS models.
